That was a great video Craig! The graphics were amazing, and the captions told a great story. That's the realm of Rick Masters. :salute:

Also, your earlier "Kryptonite" video could benefit from some live footage ... maybe something like this:

I hope Soham doesn't mind me overlaying Alan Parson's Mammagamma on his beautiful video.
Turn sound off, push stop, and set at 0:23

.
Push stop and Set at 7:00, then start both, and go full screen on top video, or watch both screens, and enjoy.

This could be the start of something good !

This picture is not to scale but in the 80's, during construction, a big pile of dirt was put on the vacant lot just North of the new Salk Institute buildings, an "overflow" parking lot, and at the same time, Bill Bennett (RIP) had put two double wide trailers at Torrey which was the first "concession stand", and he thought, that the dirt pile would make a great training hill for Hang Gliders, take off and land, take off and land, take off and land. Bob told me that he and Joe had stood on that pile with "Tell Tails" to check it out. Later the dirt was plowed away, and was forgotten...Hmmm...(maybe the fledgling U$hPa organization had other plans). In my mind. If a new presentation/proposal was made to The College who own the land, (that is the key, get with them), a collaboration could be made and submitted to city council supported by all the Hang Gliders in the area, USHGA & USHPA included, maybe a new petition having to do nothing with ACA ,
and this "Historic Bill Bennett (RIP) idea", could be brought back.

Done! I've posted that freshly designed sign right at the base of the hill, where every aspiring hang glider can see it loud and clear.
No fees, no fuss—just pure, unadulterated fun in the skies.......
.......If you're heading out there, watch for the red paraglider in the distance; it's giving the thumbs up from above.

GROK also added the last part, not me, which shows us how much power the u$hPa algorithm has.
It will always add the word "Paraglider" anywhere the word, "Hang Glider" is used. The ultimate co-opt, AI will hallucinate and lie if you don't watch closely.

And GROK made me this funny, T for Truth, and it almost got the geometry right. :lol: :lol: :lol:

From Joe.
Petition the entire city of San Diego?
How many signatures would it take to get on the ballot.

So very munch of aviation was founded on bunny slopes!
One of the great things San Diego could do is to have confidence over its aviation heritage and have at least ONE bunny slope.
Too bad Waldo Waterman is not still with us.
It is up to us, or US, that is USHawks and Torrey Hawks, perhaps.
Thanks, BobK, for your activism in the past. :thumbup:
Somehow a bunny slope near Torrey would become a win for all parties, I trust.
.
And a note from me; US Hawks needs a covert team called, "Hawk Eyes", with their special 'Eye Ware', to document bad people and then spring the trap on these bastards, just sayn'.

For The Director Of Music, of David.
1 In the Lord I take refuge.
How then can you say to me:
“Flee like a bird to your mountain.

2 For look, the wicked bend their bows;
they set their arrows against the strings
to shoot from the shadows
at the upright in heart.

3 When the foundations are being destroyed,
what can the righteous do?”

4 The Lord is in his holy temple;
the Lord is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
his eyes examine them.

5 The Lord examines the righteous,
but the wicked, those who love violence,
he hates with a passion.

6 On the wicked he will rain
fiery coals and burning sulfur;
a scorching wind will be their lot.

7 For the Lord is righteous,
he loves justice;
the upright will see his face.

And of course a Song
