Eventually the Gliderport lease should come up for bid again (the 1998 lease expired in August of 2008 ).

It's good to get people like Bill (and others) thinking about the possibilities so there will be some healthy competition when the RFP (Request for Proposals) comes out.

I believe Jebb has connections in the City who are waiting for things to "quiet down" so they can slip through another sweetheart deal when no one is watching. It will take a lot of "Hawk Eyes" to keep that from happening.

Just a random idea. No I don't know Bill I just fly along side some of his gliders at Sylmar. It would be something done at the Federal level without much San Diego input.
Moyes could tweak the Malibu into a low wind Torrey glider.
