Eipper Flexi Floater - Looking for a New Home

Postby Bob Kuczewski » Mon Feb 17, 2014 12:53 pm

Hello Fellow Hawks!!!

I just got a call from Jon who has an Eipper Flexi Floater that he's willing to give away to a good (and safe) home. The glider is in the San Diego / Carlsbad area, and Jon just wants to see it end up being useful as something other than scrap. Jon said it's in good shape, but he's gotten some feedback that it might not be a good trainer because it's flight characteristics differ too much from more modern gliders.

Here are two pictures that Jon just sent:

Jon hasn't given up flying. He's just moved to a more senior-friendly aircraft. Here's a picture of Jon in an S-26 on a short final into Otay Lakes Glider-port.

If you think you might have a good home for this glider, please post here or give me a call at 858-204-7499.

Thanks!!
