Okay, which one of you guys sabotaged HangGliding.org? LOL, the site's been down for awhile now. Bob???????

OK, I confess ... my karma ran over Jack's dogma. There is justice in the world after all.    

Actually, Jack has done a lot for hang gliding with his site, and there's been a lot of good that's come from it. So while Jack really hates me, I don't return that emotion. Jack did a bad thing with the HGAA and he did a bad thing with the TorreyHawksForum. For those reasons, I would never again trust him to control anything that was important to me (including my posts on a forum). But there are lots of people who thrive on hanggliding.org and I have to give Jack credit for creating a very good site.

My primary complaint with hanggliding.org at this time is that Jack controls what people can and cannot say. You can get a quick taste of that by trying to post any link to the US Hawks web site on hanggliding.org. You'll find that Jack's software automatically changes your link to point to some other web site!!   That's way too much control of the hang gliding community, and it's made it an uphill struggle to grow the US Hawks as a national organization. That hurts hang gliding, and that's my primary beef against Jack and hanggliding.org.

Let's see if we can do better at US Hawks!!
