What a great breath of fresh air!

:?: Model flying? Learn the fundamental aerodynamics involved? Consider deeper ground schooling.
:?: Even in flatland, I'd like to have people know first flight from foot launch solo, if only a few feet off the ground. It is possible. Tandem tow as first...(?)...something deep is lost.
:?: "License"? Rating? Site-controlled might form their own "license" within their property lines for the ground. State licenses? National licenses? Variations exist. Ratings are different from licenses. Once in the USA air: no license even if flying over a private or public property. No rating and no license protects one from natural law; be prepared: practice fundamentals; stay prepared.

BobK had in one day 201 launches, 201 glides, and 201 landings.

I've launched but have yet to land ...

Agreed. It's great to experience other forms of instruction, but there is something about running one's own self into the air that can't be replaced by any other form.

Thanks Joe!

Thaks for the support, Bob and Joe.

The wording on that was intentional. Hang glider pilots know the sport uses the vernacular "ratings" but the uninitiated presume it's like general aviation and you need a "license" to fly. Therefore, I use the term "license" at the start, since that is what the average viewer is expecting to hear, then correct the terminology to "rating" so the audience grasps what the proper wording should be.

Holy Squawk 1202!

My ultralight can be an aerotowing towplane for a hang glider?
You just got to lay on your belly on a rolly cart... https://flylookout.com/aerotow-guide/

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&hs=vawq&sca_esv=03a4f378d90a05b9&sxsrf=AKL5yDgWsGy_UxYdCfjE6lHVZQy8hKjg6Q:1793862994180&udm=2&fbs=ACAhTvwdifjn2dKXmjtOfBxVFl_koHVe5RLSnJlTH2QYaq_YVWJKALjCNlIJviHEZmQkH1sn-YIO7qUGKgahHUqK1rQegW72r5NeTYPJan702itZhd358wVCLW5GhItg3eUhZz7igTGI79oOyTcxRn4BxuMtq2flCxVxs7d-hWizS0B_AM29jRSZdclfat_qBD_VeYSul-0-aE8zTBwhLCbY5o8nekcOEw&q=aerotowing+hangglider+on+cart&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiTwqy0pPCXAxVdLtAFHX_kD0IQtKgLegQIGxAB&biw=1680&bih=828&dpr=1

I would of never even considered that...

There's not a beach cliff or mountain within 100 miles of here, but plenty of empty flying space... the vultures seem to like it
That would make people wonder if they suddenly started seeing hanggliders in the sky
I could set up my own glider port with just a played out old cotton field

Not my own plane ( http://poorgirl.air-war.org/ ), but same model:
Who is brave enough to go first?

I do not charge for a tow, why that would be running a business with an ultralight, but you may feel obligated to buy one of my $75 microwavable hamburgers from the gift shop.
I always wanted a hamburger vending machine.

Is there like a radar map that can show thermals and thermal activity in an area, so I could search around for the juiciest location? https://share.google/Tbg0TDB1VzOows7QW

Dood inherited a chunk of the Walmart fortune, then died in an ultralight crash when the elevator horn bolt came undone or failed... https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna8381553
