So here I am sitting on My; "Brains". I feel as though I am some rank Newbie. Yes, I feel as though I am a Rank Rookie who is fascinated with Free Flight. Wel being Fascinated WITH free - Flight. Well, I may not be a rookie in the True sense of the word. But i feel like a New be feels when they contemplate their first launch ever. Heck the next time i Fly it will most likely be where I fly from a Training Hill or possibly, I will go Due some time being a Dune Goon. Anyways John and I will after I get together with John, we will Discuss the options. We will then load up and go. It looks like I will Fly Zack Majors Three Thirty WW Condor!

Why is it that "WE" We being the Pilots Who Made Pilots Who were Who made up the initial Organization, which was USHGA, I wonder what they think of Their Organization being taken Over by Paragliders? OK I do not want anyone to come to the Conclusion that I have something against Paragliders. People who Fly Paragliders are Pilots Who are as enamored with Freeflight as We are. Well, I believe that heck Yes, we should have Helped them form Their Own Organization. But to have simply Giving Paragliders our Organization Was not at all in Our Best Interests.

We I already did some talking, 9s that I sent a Friend of mine Zack Majors a phone text regarding now that I am One hundred Pounds liter than I was on My last Flight. The morning of My last Flight, I weighed Two Hundred and ninety-eight pounds. Well, this morning, My Bathroom Scale read One Hundred Ninety-Eight Pounds. I am not so sure of how I will lose the 2nd. Hundred Pounds of weight. See this One Fifty-Eight Predator Pilot is Six Feet Three and a Half Inches tall. So, you can imagine How difficult it will be for Me to get My Bod Weight down to Ninety-eight Pounds.

Guys, You all need to be aware of how My Life has taken Me to absolute Physical, and Mental Lows. But there have been changes a going on with Me, as in; "RECOVERY!" Yes, I did not Kill Myself on MARCH Twenty Eighth Two Thousand Ten. I got closer, closer than anyone has a rite to. But s the saying says, "Close but no Cigar".

Just like what I heard a therapist say to a Woman on during when a Woman called into a therapist. The Therapist said to the Woman caller who had been talking about Her wanting to escalate Her relationship with Her Man the Therapist, Lara S said; "Do You have a Wing and a Date?" Wel, I do indeed have a Wing to Fly. My Friend Zack Majors has offered Me His WW Condor 330 as the Wing that I will Fly Home, My Home is up above us in the Sky!

HUMILITY: The Pounding I took, and the corresponding Return to what I call My Normal Body and Mind. Please Note: My Normal is everyone Else's Abnormal. But it is all Mine!

Yes, that Pound initiated a process where I feel that I am so much more grounded and aware of how grateful that I am that I am able to do so many mundane things. such as what I am doing here right now. Typing! I work out in My Mothers Yard cleaning up Redwood Tree droppings. Let Me tell You Redwood Trees drop a LARGE Volume of crap!

But all in all, I am so pleased to be doing these mundane tasks.

That's the best attitude to have.      :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute:

Here's how James Taylor put it:

we might as well enjoy the ride.

The secret of love is in opening up your heart.
It's okay to feel afraid,
but don't let that stand in your way.
'Cause anyone knows that love is the only road.

And since we're only here for a while,
Might as well show some style.
Give us a smile.

Isn't it a lovely ride?
Sliding down, gliding down,
Try not to try too hard, it's just a lovely ride.

Now the thing about time is that time isn't really real.
It's just your point of view, how does it feel for you?

Einstein said he could never understand it all.
Planets spinning through space,
the smile upon your face,
Welcome to the human race.

Some kind of lovely ride.
I'll be sliding down, I'll be gliding down.
Try not to try too hard, it's just a lovely ride.

Isn't it a lovely ride?
See me sliding down, gliding down,
Try not to try too hard, it's just a lovely ride.

And best of all, he even mentions "gliding" ... three times!!    :D

Boy I am a Pretty Pathetic Predator Pilot. For Thirteen Years ago I Pounded, I mean I really Pounded. To the Point When Doctors at John Muir Hospital Tended to Me. They Told My Friend Pilot - X who was probably the first of My Friends to get to The Hospital was told: "Notify His Family to put his affairs in order because He will Not survive. I mean this X really was told this. But survive I did. I guess that when You Injure Yourself Bad enough. Doctors simply write You off. Deth would not be conducive to My Happiness. Also, How Many Dead Pilots has anyone seen Flying?

PAYING MY DUES

Well, this morning after Breakfast I will Jump down on the Floor to do the stretching moves that I learned from going to a couple of classes that were held By Anat Baniel. Yes, every Push up I do, each stretch also. I get just a little closer to My Joal.

i yearn to be My own Man. As My sister says. You need to stop writing about how Well You are doing on the US HAWKS. You need to get to work!

OK I am putting this up on this Forum that I started. I want to keep the response to "MY QUESTION" Ok I have been following the talk about how a Pilot One short Pack their Glider can. Well, this and being able to attach Your Glider to Your Back and Hike away. This really piqued My interest.

OK here is My Question. Has a Pilot used this to be able to hike their Glider to a Road all by themselves? I mean some Pilot landing say Five Miles or so from a road then needing to get their Glider, and themselves to the road. This very real Possibility for Many of Us really should have been the driving force, the empitous developing the system.
