I say that we HG Pilots ask the Paraglider Pilots to assist us in forming our own organization. You know if Bob Ortiz was still around Paragliders would have a real problem. For Bob was hell on Paragliders. Heck if Bob was around today. Paragliders would systematically ban Bob. I miss Bob. Heck He went AWOL. But Bob would cause PG Pilots not Fly with Him citing Feer. We all know how courageous PG Pilots are.

You know something? Bob took My Sister Tandem of Mount Tamaulipas. Bob, ilot-X, John, and Myself all think, or in the case of Bob, Bob thought that Kathleen would have been a good HG Pilot. Pilot-Xm John, and I all Echo that sentiment.

Up North here anyways. The sole thing that instilled a Sense of Fear into A Paraglider was a Pilot. A Pilot named Bob Ortiz! I mentioned Bob in My previous Post. But check this out regarding Bob and ParaGliders. I believe that Paragliders breath a sigh of relief knowing that Bob Ortiz went and Doied. Note Bob did not Die due to a Flying accident, Bob had a couple of Mid-Airs. I know of two Mid-Air's that Bob had. Both were when Bob had a Mid-Airs. Yes Bob took out not one but Two Paragliders! Why was it that Bob took out Paragliders due to having a Mid-Air with Bob. No one knows for sure. We al know that Paragliders by virtue of what they Fly, arte Gutsy Pilots, Can You say A symmetric collapse?

But up North here t Bay area SAites, back when Bob Flew. Paraglider Pilots only flew while being quite Fearful.

BOB ORTIZ AND SUPER SISTER THOUGHTS:

Bob took My Sister for a Tandem Flight off Mount Tamalpais. So there I am with Bob, and Kathleen. They were standing there on launch. Well They waited, and They Waited for a cycle to roll through. Well after I do not know, Maybe Ten or Fifteen Minutes Bob called Clear! Then they were of and running. I mean they ran, and they ran down the Hill. Well during their Run, My Sister had I believe it was Her right Leg step into a deep hole. Well in an instance My Sisters other Leg bent at the Knee. But being the trooper that Kathleen is Kathleen was able to dig deep, She was able to pull Her right leg out of the Hole and regain Her stride. So they achieved taking Off, and Flying.

Well in the LZ, Kathleen apologized for stepping into that hole. I will never forget Bob's reaction. "She is apologizing for stepping into a hole, and then being able to regain Her Stride!" " I can not believe this! Most Tandem Passengers are Dead Weight after their Third Step".

My Sister being the gO fOR It Gal that She is May one Day Fly HG's. But She will never be courageous enough to Fly a Paraglider.
