My blackmail e-mail came to me from u$hPa this week, since I stopped paying soon after I had gained my Basic Instructor and the membership and instructor ins. soon became unaffordable, ~3yrs ago.

Speaking of "blackmail" I was just telling Wes about my USHPA Expulsion letter.

But we continue to grow here at the U.S. Hawks!! We've got enthusiastic new members like Wes, and we're preserving Master ratings for veteran pilots like Wayne!!

Thanks to everyone (especially our dedicated Board members) who help make the U.S. Hawks work!!!

Williams, Wayne Ripley of Cromwell and John Hamelin of Wallingford have achieved H5. Williams also holds the club record for the longest distance flown -- 79 miles, from Brace Mountain in Salisbury to Canterbury. The 1985 flight took 4 1/2 hours. Gurskis holds the flight duration record: 6 hours and 45 minutes.

Your ratings research skills are top drawer.
