Otto Meet 2019

Hello Fellow Friends of Dockweiler,

It's getting to be time to decide which day (or days) we want to have this year's Otto Meet.

May 23rd falls on a Thursday this year, so the closest weekend days would be the 25th and 26th. The closest Free Flight days would be the Monday and Tuesday before the 23rd. Those would be the 20th and 21st.

I've been thinking that it might be nice to hold the meet on 2 days - a Sunday and a Monday so we could have guests who were both USHPA and non-USHPA members.

I'll also point out that holding it on a Monday or Tuesday saves us considerable expense and conflict with the school.

What does everyone think?

Frank suggest avoidance of Memorial Day. Agreed.

So: May 19th perhaps for Windsports Otto Day
and Monday 20 for free-flight waivered Otto Day.

Those dates sound perfect to me.

The U.S. Hawks may still participate in both if we can work something out with Windsports.
