Honoring the rich history and bright future of gliding at Dockweiler Beach

Doesn't look good for Dockweiler tomorrow (sunday Funday). A "Santa Ana" high pressure system will be producing down-slope or cross-slope winds. :problem:

It doesn't look great, but the latest forecast shows 230 degrees at 7mph. :problem:

I may decide based on how I feel in the morning.

I passed on the La Salina trip because the forecast didn't look soarable. Maybe they'll get lucky...

Bob, give me a call if you decide to go to Dockweiler in the morning.

I've got the big sand rake that I intend to give to Windsports, so even if it's not flyable for me ( I will not bring my Alpha) I can do some site maintenance work.

It was good talking with you this morning Frank.

I just called Greg and he said the wind has been south and east all morning. So it was a good call to pass for today. I told him that you could bring the sand rake on the next visit.

It was a good day to mow the lawn anyway. It had been a while due to all the rain ... and looking a little shaggy.

See you next month ... if not sooner.
