I work very near Torrey Pines, so I spent some time at the office before walking over to the Gliderport for our Second Sunday.
It turns out that President Obama's golfing at Torrey Pines Golf Course shut down flying for the day.
The gate to the parking area was closed and there were lots of police in the area:

The parking lot was virtually empty ...

... except that the Air California Adventure "compound" was filled with its usual assortment of living quarters:
