I would actually go much farther, and say, because statists can't plant a flag in the sky, they can't make any rules about it... at all. Even planting a flag in anything is a dubious claim someone can make rules or laws about the surrounding area at all. One of those "might makes right" bogus arguments. They don't own it. Compliance actually doesn't buy you safety... it buys you less freedom, with the same bullies coming back later demanding even more of your... lunch money.

Heels are dug in hard on both sides on that fence, nobody is changing anyone else's mind there.
RE: the AI video...
I'm not happy with Youtube because in two days, an AI video montage on a fresh channel gets 66K views (that's how you game the algorithm), and mine in the same time period on a 20 year old channel would only get 60 views. Maybe 600 if it's a hit. 1,600 if it goes viral as a short.
I'm fine with anyone using my content, anyone can grab my content and reuse it. Not happy with Youtube. Worst inauthentic company run by the worst type of petty tech bros ever that buries everyone they don't like. Give something a big corporate name and everyone assumes it will act semi-responsibiy like the corporations of their dad's era. It's not true (not that it ever was really).
Imagine a bunch of pimply faced unbathed gamer types running a multimillion dollar company and that's what these places like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, etc... are like inside. I like hackers, I love hackers, I'm an amateur computer hacker myself, I don't bother other people's systems, but I did use to love to program and write software as a creative thing to do... but if you're going to run a company successfully with a benevolent dictator mindset, or admin a server or bulletin board (and that's all YT is, one huge multiuser server bulletin board) you need to be actually... benevolent.
I am so absolutely disgusted at Youtube by this point it's not even funny. I'm to the point of outright boycotting them and their dysfunctional "community guidelines." which are a mask for censorship.

That's not good internet stewardship at all, you don't purposely break thousands of links day after after day that formerly linked to your site with no plans ever to fix it.
