A what is it called? A 330 Condor is it? I mean Three Hundred Thirty Square Feet Talk about a Gig Bird! And to think that one time oh back now about Thirty Years ago now. I asked my then Hang Glider Dealer Dan Fleming to call Rob Keels down at Wills Wing to ask him about on his next trip to Northern California, Dan asked Rob to Bring a Wills-Wing 225 so that I might be able to test-Fly my Very first Hang-Glider. That all happened for I found Myself at Fort Funston where I Met Rob for the first time. I did indeed fly that: {I THOUGHT IT WAS A BIG BIRD Falcon 225} {I really did think that that 225 Falcon was a BIG-BIRD} I realize that what I just said is Redundant. But relative to the Moyes Mars that I had my first flights on down in New Zealand. That Falcon seemed Big to Me. After flying My Falcon for oh about a Year or so, I then made the transition to My second Glider which was an Altair Predator 158. Looking back on it The Predator was the optimal choice for me to chhose as my second Glider after Flying my Falcon. So now I might very well be Flying a Condor on my next Flight, Yea Baby!

Frank Yes I would love to Fly Your Condor at Dockweiler. In fact I was talking to Bob the other Day. I was talking some Smack. I told Bob that I planned on flying that Condor XC from Dockweiler. I am just talking smack here. But I beleve what Annetta Bryant said was absolutely dead on. When Annetta said: "A Day without XC, is like a Day without Orange Juice".

Frank, Bob, Joe, John. Do you Guys have any Idea just How awesome a Flight will be For Me down at Dockweiler? For as of now it has been 11 LOOOONG as years since I last flew a Hang-Glider? Yea Baby!

Chris, some time back, on HG.org, I said something to the effect that the feeling you will get from that 4 second first flight at Dockweiler will exceed anything you have felt in all of your great XC flights of the past. I still say that.

I truly do not think, no wait one minute I truly know that you Guys really have no idea how exquisite it feels for Me to be able to Contemplate Free-Flight once again. Yes I do believe that I might very well have My next Flight in a Hang Glider, Dan's Condor Hang Glider at a site called Dockweiler Beach. Just for Me be able to contemplate returning to My Home , My Home is the Sky. I want to thank all of you so very much for being gracious enough to offer your Help in My regaining My rightful Place up in the Sky.

JUST SOME OF MY THOUGHTS:

You Know My Predator has been a Tremendous income machine for Me. For once I, along with Joe Spinney, an John, We were paid to fly our Predators off Mount Tamaulipas, while an Helicopter that had a camera with a Movie Camera shot images of us while we flew. For that half an hour or so of Flying I was paid $850.00. $850.00 for a half hour of Flying, that was good income.

Another time I was paid $450.00 for Merely setting My Glider up on the Lawn of a HOUSE BER AT BLACK HAWK Homes Properties over in Danville California. I made $450.00 for that Deal.


So let's see, to date I have made $1300.00 dollars with My Predator. That is not Bad in My Book, Not Bad at all.

But I don't know the details of your injuries. I know that you suffered significant neuronal shearing, but I don't know if your skull itself was fractured or damaged. Please share to the degree that you feel comfortable, and thanks for all you've shared so far.

My impact, My crash was a Call to Aen's so to speak. Not just for Me, but for Pilot friends of Mine also. I have heard from Friends things such as this; "Heck Chris if You pounded then that means all of Us are at risk of having the same experience. You are the Lander of Lander" I said; "I know, I too have had to take a new sober view of how I will Protect Myself" To be honest I never gave much thought to how well My Helmet would protect Me. I just wore a Helmet, because that is what You do when You Fly. I was such a fool. I did pound. I pounded so hard that I had a shattered Left fractured left Eye Socket. I experienced Axonal shearing in My Brain.

Thanks Chris. The photos show the right half of the helmet. Was the left side of the helmet damaged, or did something protrude into the helmet's face opening to fracture your left eye socket?
