Very enjoyable video.

Nice music. Beautiful scenery. Not too long.
A few nice landings and one minor belly flop.

I thought about starting a new topic, but "Inspiration" seemed to fit.

Some older dudes in there also - I like that. Very smooth air, the relaxed flying is very inspirational.

1st landing shown reminded me of mine at POTM.

Knee pads, knee pads, knee pads!

Darren Brown is an inspiration because of his "sheer" enthusiasm for the sport of Hang Gliding. His many videos really show how really exciting it ....still... is to "playfully run and jump into the air. also showing the beauty and elegance of the gliders. These videos show also the "pre flight" and attention to detail that Hang Glider Pilots go through. A must for young pilots to "ingrain in their brain".
I think that young parachuting pilots are pushed into the sport at step 3, missing out on so much.
Darren really hits the nail on the head with his hang gliding videos, it is an extreme sport. Hard to learn ...easy to master.

Enjoy the inspiration and "Teach Your Children Well"

The "passion" and "excitement" in Darren Browns' voice and the quality of his videos (and his flying) is inspiring "new" and old pilots alike. He has HG fever, and it is contagious as hell , and why anyone would want to "get over" this fever (or choose a "soft" wing)......well..... .I think that Joe has the perfect "antidote" for this fever, it's called "More Lift". (inspiration in a bottle) ...sold at your nearest Hang Gliding Training Center, or practice hill. It will give you a smile to remember whether you go 5' off the ground or 5,000'.

Don't be fooled by the expensive "snake oil" that is being sold by "foreign" companys, at the concession stand surrogate . It is called OC . They will take your money, And it will surely "let you down" at a moments notice, and make you want to go to confession.

Not to worry though , Joe and his friends at US HAWKS, will fix you right "UP" with a healthy dose of "confidence". Go check out your local "Hang Gliding" Club today.

"OC" means Over Confidence...... don't get it.

Two super music videos about "surfing the air and water".
I would like to see Videographers do more to inspire (with music), the younger generation, to get into recreational Hang Gliding, and truly
RE CREATE themselves.

Thanks for the call this morning Craig. It's always good to hear from you! :salute:

You asked about embedding videos, and it's done with the "youtube" tag:

Your link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TC0jnlNeOBl
Embed with:
Result:

Your link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKPchORtTdw
Embed with:
Result:

Unfortunately, both of those links you included do not show up (YouTube may have taken them down or enforced some restriction). So I'll also demonstrate with the earlier video posted earlier by Joe:

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QAjfH05IUE
Embed with:
Result:

The "YouTube" button on our editing page will create an empty set of tags like this:

You can then fill in (copy and paste) the video number between the tags like this:

The result will look like this:

I hope that helps.

By the way, this is how YouTube currently shows the videos you posted:

YouTube_20210901.png
YouTube_20210901.png (7.82 KiB) Viewed 2440 times

That doesn't give any explanation as to why it's "unavailable". Was it pulled by the original poster? Was it a copyright infringement? Did it violate their terms of service? Was it an incorrect code? Was it not "embeddable"? Sadly, in the "information age", we are finding more censorship of information than in the stone age.

1983 - 1988, The End of an Era, the sheer elegance of King Posted Gliders, Tim Travers (RIP)
Talk About Inspiration

Good videography does as much as anything to promote the sport of Hang Gliding
where as "paragliders" can't even come close to this 'old school' free and fun flying.
"Topless" gliders are high performance yes, but they might as well be Sailplanes or Cessnas'.
Novice pilots should stay with KP gliders for as long as they can, they are much more versatile,
in my HO opinion.

Topless gliders have sacrificed old school elegance, for L/D xc records be dashed.
Joe's posts on Bowsprit Gliders is the best, and great choice of music.
