After Bryan Allan flew the English channel I met him and Paul MacCready at our local hang gliding club. I had the cheek to ask Paul MacCready if it would be possible to fly the HPA whilst it was in the UK. He said that he would have let me but as it was now an historic aircraft, destined for museum display, he was unable to oblige.
