Check This out; Why could a Pilot not be able to carry Her or his Glider after they had Landed, they could after They had put their Glider in the Bag. Why could They not attach a Setup to One end of the Glider, I don't know? Possibly using Velcro Straps. That had a wheel. Then Simply pick up the other end of the Glider, so that One could make their way towards the nearest road?

Dockweiler? Why doesn't anyone if you just want to knock off many Flights in a Day. I wonder Why no one does not just Turn there Glider towards where one had launched from. then do a Down-Wind landing? Is that the short hops that You Guys do do not give You any lift? I imagine that a Pilot would only need to be just higher than where You Launch from in order to do a 360 and return to where You started from.

Chris, we do not do 360s at Dockweiler. We do not do 180s. But at firm wind we can ridge soar and do acute crab angle one way and then reverse to ridge soar in the other direction. We sometimes top land. Bob Kuczewski did over 200 full flights in one day at Dockweiler; some of the flights had considerable ridge soaring involved!

Check this out Joe. We have an LZ up on Mount Diablo, it is located behind the Juniper Ridge Launch. It is so cool to be up on the Mountain and to be able to rip off Multiple flights. Just Launch, get up only a Hundred feet, Turn around head Down Wind. Then do a Down-Wind Up-Hill landing. Last I heard there still had not have a botched landing where the Pilot had a Whack. I know of at least Two other Pilots Who have used the Juniper Ridge L-Z, other than My Self. So on a good day with say a 25 Mile an Hour S-W Wind. It is as if You are flying at Funston. I had a Day once where I had eighteen launches off the Juniper Ridge Launch. That day I had Seventeen landings at the Juniper ridge L-Z. It is just like Flying a Costal site, Great Fun!
