Crestline Fly-In July 21st, 2018

The Crestline club held a nice fly-in at Andy Jackson Airpark yesterday:

At some point, two paragliders "interacted" and one of them ended up on the mountain:

Two helicopters were summoned:

They used the Andy Jackson LZ as their base of operations (USHPA Director Ken Andrews on left):

I didn't have direct contact with any of the officials at the scene. The rumor in the LZ was that the injuries were serious, but the prognosis for a full recovery was good.

Do I count five (5) emergency vehicles using LZ for PG rescue? Two ambulance, fire-department truck, two helicopters?
