Photo Review of 46th Anniversary Otto Lilienthal Meet

We had another great turnout and a great day of flying and public outreach for hang gliding.

                                   


We started the day with a few friends from San Diego learning to set up a glider - "Little Hawk". Little Hawk is a 65 square foot training glider for ground handling demonstrations, parades, shows, and special events.




It was a nice coincidence that Joe Greblo brought one of the inspirations leading up to "Little Hawk". I don't know the size of Joe's glider, but I'd guess between 15 and 30 square feet.



Joe remembered to wear his Otto shirt from last year, and Andy gave great coaching before we got started:
