U$hPA elections

What was the name of that actress that had her nude pictures hacked out of some cloud somewhere? (Hunger Games actress.)

I’m reading that U$hPA will disregards the more secure (with a paper trail) ballot
and only count the electronic ballot if both arrive at U$hPA from a single member. (And of course I would only be voting one time.)

Which U$hPA officer (’s) decided to go with the electronic ballot over the paper (trail) ballot? In other words giving more weight to the electronic ballot?

There would be a higher level of security if a paper (trail) ballot would be counted over the electronic ballot. Just the opposite of what is happening now.

And how about sending an email to me how my secret election password was counted?
Only I would have that password and be able to see that my ballot wasn’t tampered with.

Electronic voting opens up a whole range of problems because electrons leave no fingerprints.

But USHPA elections have been tainted long before electronic voting. In a fairly recent USHPA election, I accidentally separated my ballot from the identification sheet. So I reattached them (I can't remember if I used staples or tape) and sent it in with my vote. I later discovered that my vote was disregarded because they had been detached and reattached. That decision was clearly made while someone was sitting there with my ballot clearly open in their hands. If there was any doubt that it was my ballot, they could have siimply picked up the phone and called me:

USHPA: "Hello Bob, we've received a ballot from you, and it's been detached from the identifying information. Is this your ballot?"
Bob: "Yes. I'm sorry I didn't read the directions before detaching the ballot from the identifying information. I did indeed intend to cast my ballot for Dennis Duvall."
USHPA: "Great. Thanks. Have a nice day."
Bob: "Same to you, and thanks for calling."

That's how an organization representing pilots should be run. That's how the US Hawks will be run.

The e-vote is really screwed up this year.

Non-member, places that are sent a complimentary copy of the mag have been sent an electronic password to cast a vote. :srofl:

Go mgforbes! :P :srofl:  :o

Heck, I got a letter from u$hPa earlier this week with an electronic password to cast my vote. However there is NO election in Reg11 this year    :srofl:

Standard Operating Procedure :shh: :shifty:

What do you think about this Bill?

Yup, standard operating procedure.

By the way, did anyone notice if the Candidate Statements were printed in the magazine this year?

I've checked the last couple of months and I didn't see them. Can anyone with a full set of magazines (July, August, September, October, November) let me know if the statements were published in the magainzes or if they're only on-line now?

Thanks.
