Solar energy into hang gliding spaces

The Solar Impulse project is affecting hang gliding designers who aim to continue the eHG movement where solar provides energy for use in hang gliding in various ways.
Ways for solar energy in hang gliding:
1. eHG fly up to launches. Then launch with pure HG disciplines. Have energy for the eHG provided by converting sun's energy for use directly or through batteries.
2. Towing of HG for launch using energy from the sun.
3. On-HG charging of camera batteries and instruments by using solar-energy conversion devices.
4. ?
There is a solar-energy club of hang glider community people that have furthered the realm: Larry Mauro with Solar Riser, Dr. Paul MacCready, Eric Raymond, ...
Note: The Faust has been pressing for HG airframes to be double serving as storage devices for energy collected from the sun.
Note: How many HG launch shuttles are powered by the wind or sun so far, rather than by petroleum products? [BobK recalls that many petroleum products are distantly products from the sun's actions over earth matters; agreed, but distinction is made on getting "close" rather than "distant" connection with wind and sun's radiation.]
