Ouch Chris!!

I'm sorry to hear about that mishap. Now that you're getting up and around in the world, you might need to practice your movement skills. Everything fades without use, so take it easy as you work your way back into your old life.

{As good as not better]

I want to just put here on this Post, that I am confident that I will Fly My Predator once again. I want to improve My Flying so that I will be able to Fly with, not to Fly better than Pilots such as LARRY Tudor, Kari Kaastle, or Tammy BUcar. I only want be able to Fly as well as these pilots have Flown. Not be a better Pilot. JUst as good as these PILOTS.

I Also PLay My Gibson SG. MY SG is the very same Guitar that Angus YOUNG Plays. ONce again I only need to get as good at Playing My SG as Angus is at Playing His SG.

I am a Man with Goals. For Me to remain again. My goals must be attainable.

So yes I did in fact almost did Die. But it was Close to Death for Me. There is that caveat though Death is not li9ke playing Horseshoes. Close does not count.

Well I am in the position, The position of having access to Flying. I dream a lot I Dream about Flying. I Dream about Flying almost constantly. All this DReaming regarding Flying. All this Dreaming I can not at Present. I guess that I am a "Head Case" Granted I TRuly am a true, pure. Cerebral, "HEAD CASE" .

Now that I have dislocated My left Shoulder yesterday afternoon. I was in such pain! Every Bump in the road when my My Sister Kathleen and I were driving to Kaiser. Boy I tell /you having My shoulder dislocated. then having my arm reinstalled into the socket was an intense experience! In fact this morning it as if my shoulder and my upper arm rea hanging painful Noodle. I tell You Guys I feel as if I have been severely attacked. I have some advice that I want to share with You guys. That is; To never dislocate your shoulder. That is if you are not into severe pain, just don't injure Yourself.

Chris, ice it a lot. A frozen bag of peas or corn works good.
When it isn’t hurting use a two and a half foot stick between your hands
to help you lift the injured arm to maintain your range of motion.
Don’t move beyond where it starts to pull or wants to stop moving.
Never make it hurt while regaining full range of motion.

Hi all You Sky Guys, and Sky Gals:

Well being that this page's Title is Mentally Flying I will stay on subject with these thoughts; I for one have a question, a thought. What is wrong with us as a Flying community? Regarding our needing more Pilots. Pilots, we need more female Pilots! all I see is Male Pilots. Come on let's be honest We are living with a through drought when it comes to having Female Pilots. The reality is that the few women Pilots that I have seen. have tended to be good, competent Pilots. I mean when I have seen Pilots such as Kari Kastle. and Tammy Bucar fly. I think to Myself; "Why can't I be a female Pilot"?

Well just a "Heads Up";

I will Tomorrow be going to see an Orthopedic surgeon. Who will be tending to My Left shoulder. Boy with Me, the hits just keep coming. Man I Must stop injuring Myself. For this last deal where |I fell and just drove my left should and correspondingly My upper left arm at the shoulder became dislocated. My Sister Kathleen; The Demon took Me to Kaiser where a couple of Doctors gave Me dope that caused me to loose consciousness. Then the Doctors proceeded to have a great time horseing my upper arm back into the shoulder socket. Great Fun! Tomorrow I go to see a Orthopedic Surgeon for I assume it will be another round of Pain!

Hello Chris,

We live in a time where it is considered politically incorrect (and even dangerous) to mention that there are any differences at all between men and women (aside from their obvious reproductive differences).

Let's face it, there are more men involved in hang gliding because it is an activity that is simply more appealing to men. There are other activities that are more appealing to women, and it should be no surprise that we find more women in those activities. That's just as it should be.

I think all people should be free to pursue those activities that appeal to them as individuals (regardless of their gender). But we do too many people a disservice when we attempt to make all people "equal" by expecting them (and sometimes pressuring them) to be equally interested in the same things. People are not all interested in the same things.

No pain ... no gain.

Hang in there, but be careful with your old self. Remember, you're 11 years older than when you were in your previous life!

I was, and I heck I am so disappointed with My Sister Kathleen. For She did not go forward with being an Aviator. It is not just I that think that my Sister would do well. John also thinks that Kathleen would fly well. But it is not looking like Kathleen will Fly. i would be pleased as punch to be working lift in a thermal. Then to have Kathleen core through Me that would be rocking!
