Re: This Slacker Phoenix Pilot, will Fly San Diego Sites

Postby Chris McKeon » Sun May 22, 2022 6:13 pm

Hello everyone:

It appears that i will indeed fly again. You see I will be Flying George H's 330 Condor next month at I believe that momentous Flight. My first flight in12 Years, When I fly, and make no doubt, I will strut Georges Glider back into the Air at the Costal site of of My friends chose regarding where I will Fly. It will be either Ocean Beach, or Pacifica. You guys must know that Frank offered his330 Condor for Me To Fly, to Fly and whack by the way. Taking a trip this Weekend turned out not to be. I could not get myself down South. My ability to travel, To Drive. has been curtailed do to the Fact that on My last Flight I did a super Pound. When one goes into a Coma. Doctors as a Matter of practice notify the DMV of your condition. The DMV automatically revokes Your driving Privilege's. Well I am on the road, next Month I will be on the Sky-Road back to normalcy.

So remember that When you are climbing in a Thermal, and A Teal Green Predator come up and cores through You it will be Me!

This Potato Will Fly.

Postby Chris McKeon » Thu May 26, 2022 7:45 am

You Guys might enjoy reading what I am about to say: So here I am, Yes I missed the Otto Meet, but I have a Condor lined up to fly at either Ocean Beach, or it will be Pacifica. You Guys really have no idea what this means to Me. For oh I really am not sure when that bad day happened at Kaiser Vallejo Hospital. But there was a Doctor, to Me this Fellow was not a Doctor who assists Your Body's natural ability to recover. No this inept Charlo ton had other ideas as to My recovery. This Quack, charlatan, inept piece of garbage said to My sister when responding to My Sisters plea that He have an MRI performed on My left shoulder. Well His response was; "Why Bother You can't have a Conversation with a Potato" Really? That is new one. I never thought I would become a Vegetable. I am just guessing that Doctor Failed his Bed Side Manner Class back when He was in Medical School. So anyways this Vegetable will be flying once again in about 2 or 3 weeks. My Dad upon hearing what this charlatan had said about Me, Dad went ballistic! He told me that when I was recovered That I should go find that Doctor and beat his a**.

Beat his a** with a well worded, like you can do, letter to the hospital. I have a "Spud" gun that you can use.

"ONLY YOU" OH YES!

Postby Chris McKeon » Fri May 27, 2022 11:07 am

I've just got to come out and say it. I am feeling like a Hundred Bucks. For I am living the words that a Physical Therapist said to Me oh about 11.5 years ago back when I was being tended to by a Physical therapist named Chris Kowalski. Well I asked Chris about the dreaded word that almost all Those who work as Doctors, Therapists in the Health care industry find AS a truly repulsive foul concept. That is concept is that a person can recover from Brain injury. So anyways I felt that Chris did not concur with the idea that if one injured His or Her Brain, that They were One and Done. I asked Chris; So Chris when do You think that I will be a 100 Percent recovered? Chris responded by saying; "Only You will be able to say when You are 100 Percent recovered". Or John and I were talking oh about 2 or 3 years ago on the Phone. We were talking about My aim to recover to 100 percent. Well John said to Me; "Your One Hundred percent, is a very large number"

FLYING:

I am getting ready to Fly. I have Gorges Condor that was picked up By Dave C. I will fly My first Flight in 12 Years two Months over at Ocean Beach, or Pacifica. But I hope to do as well as one can do while flying a Costal site. We all know that when one is flying the Coast. There is not much to Crow about. But when I leave the sand, and I Fly I will be in euphorbia, The Word Zeal comes to Mind. But My Flying will be at 100 percent when I routinely fly to Cloud Base, When I Fly My Predator 100 Miles in well under 4 Hours.

Craig: Check this out. Even though I have never laid Eyes upon that Doctor I will say with Confidence that if I were to have that rude crude callus individual in front of Me I think that I would choose not to beat His a**. I mean I say with a lot of confidence that Being that He is a Sight-Unseen Person to Me. But I know what I am. I could Fight quite well back in the Day. But what would My beating His a** accomplish? Heck I would most likely go to Jail. And what would He learn? No I say live and let Live. These Days I am trying to come across as a very reasonable individual.

Well I do have a Wing, though I do not have a Date Yet. This deal sounds almost like what I heard a Lady ask a Guy on a TV Program; "Do You have a Ring and a Date" As soon as a weekend is chosen, then I will Be able to say; "I have a Wing and a Date".

Re: Hello US Hawks!! Healthy Numbers?

Postby Chris McKeon » Sat May 28, 2022 8:38 am

Well I do not know if this Post is off topic. Maybe I should have started a New Post, titled My new Post Predator Pilot's Musings, and ramblings. Anyways here I Go:

Check this out I do the Poke a finger with a Pin each Morning. I take My Blood-Glucose reading. the goal is to have take my glucose reading each Morning and not have a Single Days reading that is over One Hundred. My Best average for a Week with not a single day being over 100 was an 88.8 average. Kathleen and I believe that along with my Doctor Robert A who also believes that 85 is the optimum number. Also take note: There really is bot a Number that is too low. I have heard the Word Hypoglycemic bantered about. But heck if Your Glucose is a little bit lower than You want to see, Have a Hostess Ho-Ho, or a Three Musketeer's Candy Bar. If You eat Something then Your Glucose number will go up. Raising Your Glucose number is quite easy, going down is hard.

I saw an add on TV where the Man was doing a Promo for taking dope-a Drug that would lower Your Glucose Number. He Crowed about His "Nice Low Glucose Number" the number that he spoke of was One Hundred Twenty One. ONE HUNDRED TWENTY ONE! This is not in My Book a nice Low, safe Number. No a 121 is when one should be taking Dope to force the Glucose number down. Well different People, different numbers I Guess, But if I was that High My Sister Kathleen "THE DEMON" would be talking that I should be taking Glipizide in order to Ram down My ultra high out of Control number. One Hundred Twenty One and the Word Healthy should never be used in the same sentence when one is talking about Blood Glucose numbers.

Death being a negative regarding Flying.

Postby Chris McKeon » Sat May 28, 2022 10:54 pm

You know You Guys can Not know How I Feel. I mean how could You? I have been through a horrendous Pounding while flying My Predator. My pounding left me a Busted up shattered hulk of a Predator Pilot. I am so grateful that when it came to proposing a Prognosis for My Recovery my Doctors were in error regarding their Prognosis's. For, No I did not succumb to death/ Tonight I was just watching a show on TV. I believe that it was called; "I Survived" the show is about People who had near Death adventures. But they refused to Die. Heck that is Me. I had, and I have no intention of Dying. I have things to Do. I need to go forward. I really mnean this; As much as I desire to Fly again. I Want to go back to work more than to Fly My Predator. I am a General Contractor, and even if I do say Myself. I am a good Carpenter/Contractor.

FLYING:

I have plan a chance at Flying a 330 Condor out at Stinson Beach or it might be Pacifica. Ten when John returns from Idaho. John and I will get together so that John will be able to observe how well I am able to Fly, Then after I have demonstrated My ability to Fly John will sign the Paper that says that My Hang Four should be reinstated. I was a good Pilot, if you doubt what I just said ask John about well I flew the next time You see Him I will be a good Pilot once again. Heck, if I had died , rgw=en that would have been that.

Re: I GET HIGH WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS.

Postby Chris McKeon » Wed Jun 01, 2022 3:23 pm

Ok, here I sit contemplating My returning to Mt rightful place in the Sky. It really impresses me how so many Pilots have, and will continue to help pursue My Quest Of returning to Free-Flight. Yes it appears that i will Fly a W-W 330 Condor, over on the Coast, at either THE Pacific Costal site, or Ocean Beach. So if all goes well, I do believe that all will go well. So when john returns from Utah, John and I will get together, I will Fly His training Glider. Well For Me it is a case with Me anyways, That it is On-Ward, and Up-Ward. I am so looking forward to My Greatest Flight that I have had in 31 Years.

San Diego, Land of Plenty

Ok, Here is My Deal. This weekend I will undergo the initial first Step-Flight regarding MY quest to once again Be a Free-Flight Pilot. I am going to fly an 330 W-W Condor over at the Coast close to San Francisco, I will Fly Either the the Stinson Beach Costal site or I will Fly Pacifica.

MY MAIN REASON FOR THIS POPST:

John has told me that there are a whole slew of Flying sites which can be used as a starting point point for an XC Flight. John told me that there is Little Black Mountain, Big Black Mountain, Blossom Valley, Horse Canyon, Palmar, and Horse Canyon. Well when I am Flying My Predator I want to head down to
Sandi ego Land of "Too numerous Flying Sites for a Pilot to Fly" But I will be a Brave Pilot at the Land of Too Many Sites for a Pilot to Fly. I want to hook-Up with a local Pilot, or Pilots who fly these sites, who are XC Pilot's that have a Driver.

Notice: My E-Mail is down. So Please call Me; 925-497-1059

I am not familiar with sites by those names. Are they part of the Funston ridge? There is a part of the Funston ridge that was called "the dumps" down south where paragliders would fly. If so, I've flown high over it in a hang glider (from Funston), and I've also launched and landed there in a paraglider.

From what I remember (it was long ago) the hang gliding launches at the dumps weren't as friendly as Dockweiler. If that's the case, be sure that you have a good instructor with you, and be mindful of your own limitations.

Also, if you fly, be sure to have someone taking pictures of your return to the sky!!
