I thought it was great that she did some actual launches and landings on the training hill rather than just take the tandem flight. That makes the sport look accessible to regular people.

By the way, I think there was a study done a while back where they found that starting on the training hill is more likely to keep pilots in the sport than starting with a tandem. Part of the thinking is that a tandem is so overwhelming that it causes people to think they could never do that themselves. But running on a training hill empowers people with the thought that they could actually learn to do it.
