I have promoted the concept for years but the realestate/hanggliding cartel has denied it. A new launch site at Sylamr at a lower altitude for higher wind days.

Report of 5 PG's launching east Trash to avoid the higher winds at Kagel. They reported smooth air. Highest altitude on Tuesday was 4,315ft. TODAY....Very similar to yesterday with more SW. There's still N above 4K. The potential altitude is down to 4,800ft and still the potential for low cloud development. Blip has the base at, or just above launch level. Winds are SW between 6 and 8kts by 1pm. Max altitude 4,800ft.
