The more you know, the more you'll go. I'll bet there are people who see this video and wish "gee I wish that I could have learned that way"......BUT WAIT......I can

Scooter towing on the grasslands seems pretty good way to gain confidence in piloting skills, little by little at your own speed , (360 ' s will come soon enough.) with 100% better, and much more elegant body position . There won't nothing better than feeling the wind in your face.

And as I am standing there at Torrey , distracting them all, .......7 of my "rebel" friends drop in from a specially designed Blimp, (help me out Frank) , each one doing some "wingovers" and "loops with smoke", using a full range of historic Hang Gliders and "PILOTS". They will be doing some "touch and goes", and dropping leaflets, historical pictures, and "discount tickets", to the spectators , about "UP" coming events.
My new, banned from u$hpa, "rebel" friends, are using this 1 year anniversary of the two dead pilots, to "Keep hope alive" for the family's of the fallen, and they fly this day also in memorial. As more hang gliders drop in from above the original 7 fly to a landing site where they will give interviews to the "media", and prepare themselves, once again, for the jebb / u$hpa onslaught .
" how dare you fly in "our" airspace here at Torrey?, and put "our""riders" and "our" spectators at risk of injury, " jebb hollars.
Although this is a "para" ody, a "sign up page" will be circulated privately .And the "tactical" and "stratedgy" will be refined, and don't worry, your "banned badge of courage" should be worn (t-shirts and hats coming soon) with
Leadership.

The "Facts" are (and have been), there in black and white, and "red all over".
But "their BOTTS" are constantly giving out Misleading Information in the form of advertising and media reports it's up to "[b]"HAWK EYES" to counter inarticulate misrepresentations with articulated "T" words.
Tenaciousness...Truth....troublemaker....troubleshooter...............more?

Which applies very well to (in no order ) JoeF, BobK, Frank Colver, wingspan33, Bill Commings, Majiemae, Ernie Eagle, Mike Giles, Dmartens, Rick Masters, Sam Kellner, and others , and me.

We have completed our investigation of Torrey Pines Robin Marion and will publish the results.

Robin Marion is found guilty of being "Ill Mannered".
adjective
having bad manners; not behaving well in social situations.
"ill-mannered and unruly children"

And now the repercussions to the California tourism industry:

Ill Mannered characters can be beneficial to the California tourism industry. One only need look at Disneyland and the beloved character "Grumpy".

Sesame Street also finds "Oscar the Grouch" safe and useful for children's entertainment.

The commission did find the Torrey Pines finger pointing not up to California Tourism Code, specifically using a single finger middle or index for pointing(or flipping off BobK).

On a more related note, here is some of the training Torrey Pines uses to teach pilots to throw a reserve chute:

The commission has also found The San Diego Mayor and City Council "GUILTY!!!" on all counts of having created the problems at the Torrey Pines Gliderport and that "David Jebb is a Hero and also a victim of inadequate Police Force funding by the San Diego political structure".

Because of inadequate Police Force funding San Diego has created a monster in David Jebb. David Jebb admits this but had the courage to take on his demons and heal the emotional wounds he sustained in his service as a police officer. David started a successful flight school and found flight to be a partial solution to his PTSD disorder. David also took on long ocean voyage in further attempt to heal his condition acquired in the line of duty.
we can only hope David finds peace in his future and we direct all blame onto San Diego for creating the monster with in him.

Allowing BobK to fly Torrey Pines again will help in resolving the injustice the City of San Diego has burdened us all with.
I ask you all to reconsider the issue.
