RIO Animated Film

Postby Bob Kuczewski » Sat May 21, 2011 11:37 pm

I saw the animated movie "RIO" today. It was a light-hearted film featuring a rare "blue macaw" that never learned to fly. There are a few hang gliding sequences involving the macaw, and the sport of hang gliding is portrayed reasonably well (for an animated movie about a bird).

At one point, I think there is a slight animation error involving the structure of the glider and pilot, but it was mostly very well done.

Here's a link to the movie's web site if you'd like to see a short preview:

Enjoy!!
