We don't really have an official awards process let along a "mentor of the decade" category, but you are more than welcome to fill this topic with all the reasons why Wayne would be a great mentor of the decade if we did have such an award.

Mentors and instructors are the most valuable people in the sport, and I look forward to reading about Wayne. We might even start a special forum where mentors can be publicly recognized and thanked by the people they've mentored. That's a super way for "mentorees" to give back to the person who helped them along the way.

Thanks for a great idea Howie. That's how the US Hawks gets new ideas ... from members just like you.
