Panorama picture of huge crowd at Meredith NH on Sunday

I watched Ron Paul on CSPAN yesterday and was amazed by the crowd. The camera panned the crowd but it was tough to determine just how big it was.

So I stitched together a few screen captures from the video so you can get a better sense of the crowd.

I read a report in the WSJ about this event. They started their story reporting that the crowd was more than 300.
http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2012/01/0 ... crowd-in...
"The crowd number is also up for debate. Fire code capacity for the room is 300 and a hotel manager counted it at 450, which would include a wave of reporters. As expected, the count from the campaign is a bit higher: 500, it said in a press release shortly after the event."

The big story yesterday was Huntsman pulling in big crowds. I read a bunch of stories where they said that there were 300 people who showed up at the Beane Towne Coffee shop. Here's the picture I saw all over where he was standing on the counter. There might have bee more people outside but it's tough to compare this crowd of 300 to the crowd of 300 that Ron Paul drew in Meredith.

Media Mobs Ron Paul at Breakfast in New Hampshire

Ron Paul Tells CNN’s Bash Voters Should be “Furious” with Establishment Media

Following the media orchestrated circus http://www.wwlp.com/dpp/news/politics/Crowd-gets-rowdy-for-Ron-Paul-earlier today in New Hampshire, Ron Paul terminated an interview with CNN correspondent Dana Bash after she said a voter was “turned off” by his decision to leave the diner in Manchester.

Before terminating the interview, Paul said the chaotic situation at a New Hampshire eatery was created by the media. “It says something about the media,” Paul responded. “Because you, the media, did that,” he said, pointing at Bash.

Following the interview, the New York Times tried to make it appear Paul’s patience with the establishment media has run out.

“This is the second time that Mr. Paul has walked out of an interview with CNN. He did it in December, albeit politely, when the political analyst Gloria Borger asked about his involvement with inflammatory newsletters,” writes Michael Barbaro for the Times.

It was later discovered that CNN edited the video to make it appear Paul had abruptly ended the interview. In fact, the interview had concluded, but Borger continued to ask Paul questions. CNN and the establishment media then said Paul had stormed off in order to make him appear angry and petulant.

Paul’s exchange with Bash begins at one minute fourteen seconds in the video above.
