Teasing the police (youtube)
once again I cant make the link work so you will have to copy/paste it to the address box to make it work---darn it. :lol:

Hi Bill,

That was a tricky YouTube link because it had two parts that looked like the video ID:

The part in green is the regular part of the web address. The part in red ( N7TzPEYci_w ) is what I call the video ID. That's what you put between the "youtube" tags to embed the video in a post. I'm not sure what the last (blue) part is. I'm thinking the blue part might bring up a specific list of alternate videos to choose from, but it's confusing because it's a bunch of random characters that look like the video ID.

Here's how I coded it in this post:

So to answer your question, yes, you only include what's after the equal sign, but you stop when you get to the ampersand (&) sign.

Regarding the video itself, I think that was a pretty stupid thing to do. If you make it look like you're breaking the law, then of course you should expect that the police will come and take some kind of action. That's their job!!!
