Debate Coach, Davis Straub: (paraphrased.. 'use scary words')
I watched the "debate" on the net. You came across again as very
mild mannered, professorial, nothing like you do in your blog or
column. This probably doesn't make for great TV which relies on
emotion and conflict to energize those watching.
Ron Paul uses dramatic and emotional words which scare people. One
needs to attack the pictures that he paints with equal emotion (if
you wish to engage him on TV) to raise questions in the minds of
the listeners as to the validity of his statements.
The big target here is inflation and the debasement of the
currency. You have argued here about how inflation is the
lubricant that gets the money being held back as a store of value
back into the business of encouraging commerce.
There will always be a conflict between savers (getting almost
negative real interest on their bank accounts) and the unemployed
who have used up their savings and are hoping for the economy to
get moving again.
I suggest going over the video of this debate and with the help of
"experts" going over how you can better promote your position on
TV through direct engagement with your protagonists.

Davis is so good to give advice to Krugman, maybe he could also give a few tips to
Obama's "Propaganda Czar" Cass Sunstein?
